Hay ya'll<br />My friend has a 60hp V4 .... Model # VXL-10s serial # J2485015.<br />Anyone know the year?..... also how compatiable are the parts for an evinrude 1968 65hp V4? Will the stator from the Johnson work on the evinrude?<br /> Thanks Rod

Go to a NAPA auto parts store and ask for their outboard parts catalog. It has the number/year list in it. No, I'm not kidding.

Do ya think the parts "at least the stator" from the 1964 60hp Johnson v4 will fit my 1968 65 hp v4 evinrude?<br /> Thanks again .... you guys know your "ship"!!!
