Hi, I've located a replacement engine for my blown up 1967 60 hp sportfour.
This engine is an 80hp and looks just like my 60hp (in the photos) The engine cover is identical, reads 80hp electric start rather than 60hp electric start, the engine cover is grey mine is white.
The 80hp has a short shaft and my 60 has long shaft extensions, I'm thinking I'll have to swap the gearcase and all the other 5" longer parts.
What I'm not sure about is if the 80hp powerhead has bigger driveshaft spline and if the gearcase ratios are different? The owner assures me 110 psi in all four.
I'm crossing my fingers that all the 5" longer parts will interchange? Thanks for any info you give me on the 80HP version.

No problem, just swap the parts. Everything is the same from the powerhead down.
