racerone, where would be the best area to drill/tap for a pressure gauge? I never thought about put one, just always went by tale tell. Also,where would be the place to drill/tap on 96 Evinrude 9.9? Thanks for this suggestion.

A 96 evinrude 9.9 will have a tell tale.-----Those 9.9 motors already had that " selling feature " in about 1978 model year.------Water pours out at the exhaust relief and is a tell tale.----Most folks do not look at tell tales nor do they realize that it is not an indicator of proper cooling !
