63 Johnson RX-11 fuel pump question

Finally found a rebuild kit for the pump. The question is, when I disassembled the thing, didn’t realize that the spring supports have different part numbers for them! I’d just threw both in the basket with all the other parts to soak. Now I’m lost as to which is which. They both measure up the same size.

They were both the same size on earlier models (304094). A running change somewhere in history replaced the one in the larger chamber with a larger one.

In your case, just put them in wherever, since they are the same size.
