Working on my 63 evinrude speedifour. What type of oil should I use on the lower end? Also how exactly does one go about regular maintenance as far as changing lower gear fluid?
Being a " speedifour " it would be a mechanical shift and uses ordinary outboard gear oil.----You drain the oil at the bottom and refill from the bottom till it comes out the top.---Do not remove a philipps screw !
