I had posted a question earlier about cables on the ignition system and had some answers but where they told me the cables go the screw will not go through the eye of the cable so I do not think it goes there. The manual does not specify where the go either so I am having one last attempt at it before I pay a mechanic. I took a picture of the three cables in question, the same three cables are on the other side with the other point and condenser. Any help any body can give me will be greatly appreciated. Notice that the cable with the red jacket is coming from under the plate.
Nikari..... All three of those wires should be connected to the small screw on the ignition breaker points (the small threaded hole at the top of the triangular insulated plate on the breaker point base.

One is a condenser wire, one is a coil primary wire, the other (red) one would lead to a kill switch, ignition shut off terminal, something of that nature.

Note.... Better to call them wires, not cables.

The wire with the red crimp should come up through the plate somewhere. Did this motor come with this magneto plate? You may have to drill a hole in the mag plate somewhere to let the two kill switch wires enter.

It would appear your motor has had the flywheel off for awhile - rust on the crankshaft. I would lap the crankshaft taper to the flywheel using a fine valve-grinding compound, taking care to clean it all out when done. Leaving the rust there can lead to improper torquing of the flywheel nut, sheared flywheel keys and nearly impossible removal of the flyhweel next time around...

- Scott
