Need more info! What type of motor do you have (make, modle, year, horse power? I have a suzuki 4hp that requires an OEM fitting in order to flush. It won't run on muffs either.
Some of the older OMC's had the water pickup at the front of the foot below the cavitation plate. Look for an opening with a screen underneath. I don't know if you can still get this type of muff. Maybe someone else knows a source.
I have a Yamaha 15, im not sure of the year. The pick up is right on the underside of the cavitation plate. I'm not sure if they make the muffs like that but if anyone knows I would like some!<br /><br />-Stauter
