I have a 67 100hp Johnson V4TL-13a
Should I be using non ethanol gas or at least an additive to remove some of the ethanol?

Also, can someone tell me where the fuel filter is located?

Thank you kindly!

screen in the fuel pump. you have little choice but to use ethanl fuel. if you have not, replace all fuel lines with alcohol resistant fuel lines.

Thanks tashasdaddy,
Sorry I am confused by your post. Are you saying, I should use non-ethanl gas?

Thanks

He is saying that you don't have any choice in most locations. Ethanol gas is all that is available. Don't use over 10% Ethanol. But if you have the non-stuff available and it makes you feel better, go ahead and use it.

Not wanting to get into a discussion of the evils of Ethanol, I would say that I can drive over to the bayfront and see hundreds of boats. They can't all be parked because of lack of gas. Besides, there are so many of them on the water on weekends that you are in danger of getting run over. They seem to be running ok to me.
