I spent ? day Thursday getting the old boat running,
and ? day yesterday getting it running good. I had to put a coil on and a condenser. She purrs like a kitten now.

My manifold is leaking but I am going to replace that soon. It had been repaired with jb-weld. I am going to get a new bilge pump today.
Then I can start to clean the old girl up. :D

The ice is all gone.
All went well. right up on plane, 3900 wot almost 35 on the dreamometer.
Now to get the lights and bilge working and give the hull a good cleaning with some easy on easy off then some wax

Oh yea I almost forgot, fix that leaky manifold

Manual say 3900 - 4300

I still have to do a good tune up, I just wated to hear it run, go in and out of gears, and float without taking on water, before I start spending $$$

So now I am off to get a couple sets of points (one set for a spare), some new plugs, a new fuel filter, I already put a new coil on along with a condenser. The cap, wires and rotor look good.
All the fluids were done when it was winterized.

What am I forgeting?

yep, wot spec for a 110-120 is 3900-4300. i just went and looked at s/m #1. the 140 would be 4200-4600.

fwiw, when i got my boat, i was seeing 3900 too. had me a 21p prop onto it. put me a 19p on it and now see 4300...

ya wanna see the high end of wot spec with your normal load. so your luggin just a bit. maybe the tune up will cure ya.

sounds like a tune up plan to me.. don't forget to set dwell, then time it.. ;)
