Finily got the motor runnning forward. Some bad wiring on the anti reverse grounding spring. While I was putting the fly wheel back on I noticed that 2 of the windings on the stator was warm/hot.I Done the following test. I disconected the yellow leads from the stator and inserted the red probe and grounded the other probe, Is An infinite reading indicating the windings are good? Then I done the following test. Connected the meter between the yellow leads from the stator and got another infinite reading indicating the windings are open? Did I do the test correctly? Is the stator good or bad? Will this drain my battery down if I leave it hooked up? (It's unhooked now). I want to put the boat in the water tommorrow. Will running the engine damage other parts? Sorry for the 90 questions but would like to get on the water. THANKS
