I have a 1968 mercury 125 inline six with a thunderbolt breaker-less battery ignition. It always runs great (once you get it started),but this last weekend it decided not to start. I pulled the dist. cap and found 3 big cracks in the rotor. I,m having a problem finding the correct rotor for my dist. All the web diagrams shows it to be A 393-3269A6, but that not the one i have. I purchased one. The closest one i have found is 393-2921A7. The only difference is the window disc. Mine has 6 holes,it came with 4 hole disc. Other than that , it was identical, Some must have changed out the dist. thru the years i guess. My rotor is 4&1/4 inches from the end of the shaft to the top of the rotor in length. The shaft has splines instead of a cut out. The ser.# is 2481483.Any help on a part # would be appreciated. ___INLINES RULE Thanks rick50
