Hi all, let me start by saying I think this a great site.
The power tilt/trim on my 69' 115hp evinrude doesnt work. The motor itself works but I dont know how I would test the valve body to see if it is put together right. The guy I got the boat from last year told me he messed with it to see if he could get it to work and told me it needs a new trim pump. I had it apart and there doesnt appear to be any wear on the pump rotors or the body. So what I'm saying is i dont think the pump is mechanically worn out, I think it was low on fluid and this guy may have put it together wrong. THanks for any help.
