69 Chrysler 55HP Lower end

I want to rebuild the lower end over the winter, or at least re-seal it. My Gear oil keeps coming out all milky looking and the weep holes are putting out a lot of oil also. I'm pretty sure the seals need replacing. Is there anything else I should definitely do while I have it apart? and does anyone have a source and the part# for the seals?

chances are the forward gear and the clutch are worn. You might want to consider taking them to a machine shop to have them refaced.

NAPA has seals(except one gasket) for resealing your LU. Ask to see their marine catalog.
