I have a 1969 Johnson 20hp motor that I did a tune-up on and used a gear puller to remove the flywheel:mad: Needless to say I tweaked it in the process and after I reassembled it it was rubbing and grabbing on the timing plate making it run a little rough. Well I took it out and after a little while it caught and twisted the timing plate around and broke some of the linkages on the bttom of the plate and ripped the plug wires out. Where is a good place to find old parts? I need a flywheel and timing plate with the linkages and suck that is bolted to the bottom of it? I am really mad at myself right now because I finally have a little time to go out and I screwed it up. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks a million!

Hi Joe,
Can you get the number(s) cast on the underside of the flywheel? I may have one with a basket case motor. Might also have the linkages if you know which ones you'll need....

Also does anyone know what years and hp's are interchangeable with this motor?
