6hp fuel pump. i took it apart (i know) not sure how to put it back together.

Title says it all. I checked on a new one... original part 382875. Now replaced by 388685. I would like to try and put the old one back together but I can not find a diagram anywhere. There is a little sm. Nail head size plug...and where it goes?
I'm at the lake trying to fish. Any help is greatly appreciated. PS... I can send along pics of all the pieces.

You guys on this site are fantastic....thanks for the quick response.
I will give it a shot, but mine looks to only have 1 spring. Not saying there was not another, but one is all I found. No wonder these are not serviceable.
