6hp initial idle mixture

1969 evinrude fisherman series 6Hp

When i recieved the motor the carb was removed.... After a cleaning of the carb I cannot get an idle right i need to know where to intially set the idle mixiture screw before i put the dial on it for the remote adjustment ie 1 turn or something.....Thanks

! 1/2 turns out should be a good starting point.
