i honed the cylinder head with sandpaper and put on a new gasket and ran my 7.5 in a trash can today. Im not sure what is going on. The engine starts great and revs highest about 3/4 throttle and runs slowly at full throttle. i tried shifting it into gear today and the prop does not spin. after it turned it off (quickly) i turned the prop by hand and it does not turn the crankshaft. also the head felt hot to me. there is water coming out of the exhaust port. how hot it too hot? i can touch it but its hot. i will take off the lower unit tomorrow and see if the key is still in the shock absorber. that is the only reason i can think of that the crank shaft is not turning. any suggestions? thanks a bunch
