7.5 hp props

Was wondering if anyone can tell me the answer to the following question. I have a 1957, 7.5hp Johnson that has a two blade prop. I am looking at a 1961, 10hp Johnson as a parts motor (it has a 3 blade prop). I thought that I had read someplace on here that Johnson changed the foot on the late 50's early 60's 10 hps to a smaller size, would that make the foot on the 61 10hp the same size as the 57 7.5hp and if so would that make the props interchangable, I understand the pitch may be different.

The 10hp gearcase is related to the 7.5, but NOT the same. Internal parts are different, pinion bearings are different, prop shaft is different. The propeller is different too, and won't fit.
