Re: 70 Force No spark?

Welcome to iboats.
We need a little more info.
Is this a Mercury Force or a Chrysler Force?
Year, model, serial number of motor, (several different ignition systems were used).
Also, make sure the kill switch is in the run position.

Could be several other things, but will need to know the year/model.

Possibly the key switch, check for continuity between the two terminals labeled "M" on the back of the switch. Check it with the key off (continuity) , and on ( no continuity).

If box is new and functional, and kill switch is in the run position, I would then check the rectifier, stator, and the trigger for a signal.

A Clymer repair manual outlines the test procedures pretty well.
