My freind has this motor that was giving him fits, it wouldn't throttle up. After alot of money and time in and out of the water the mechanic found a burnt control module I think is what the name of it is. The reason the module was burnt was because the timing was set the proper amount of degrees the wrong way!! This caused the motor to be actually 24 degrees out per the mechanic. Who can he contact to help with the bill, the mechanic said the unit had not been tampered with because all the factory paint was still in tact. The factory error created expensive trouble shooting ie.. Gas,gas can, fuel lines,mechanic labor, and now a module and the cost of installing it. Any contact help he would appreciate.
