start with the secret file at top of evinrude forum thats full of good advise (they have one on removing vro). for numbers look on the transom mount or for the freeze plug on the motor (round disk in the block). once you have the model number then its easy to get the manual of ebay and parts and diagrams. if you carnt find the numbers then take pics.
