70 hp evinrude running rough plzz help!!!

well i launched the boat and started to my destination to fish and it ran fine but when i started it back up i noticed the idle was low and rough sounding so i put it at full throttle and it bogged down at w.o.t i was running maybe 5 mph so if there is any suggestions on how i can fix this problem please let me know

Howdy Fishgetter.<br /><br />Do a search on no power under load and read some of the troubleshootiing techniques.<br /><br />Try them out and get back to us.

Check for spark. Do all cylinders have it? If not replace the ignition coil/powerpack.

I also have a 1976 70hp evenrude that runs great for 20 minutes or so, then will only run at low rpms, about 2000. If I throttle up it becomes very rough and will stall. I have not solved my problem yet, but would suggest checking carbs and coils/powerpack. Any advise you get I will try on my boat as well.
