70 HP Johnson exhaust gaskets, if sealant is used what is best?

1980 Johnson 70 HP. I have a set of new gaskets but they are old and the factory sticky film on them is no longer sticky. Is there a sealer I can spray on the gaskets (3 total: exhaust manifold plate, manifold and manifold cover) that will withstand the heat of the exhaust ports and water to ensure a long lasting seal? Red RTV. Wont melt and makes a good seal

Use 3-M sealer 847. It will seal them really good but if you ever want to take them off it will be a real *****. Used that on those gaskets before cause they were known as leakers.
