Just thought id finish the season on a happy note! Have got thro the summer with an engine that runs great at speed , idles ok but after a run, has to be coaxed to rev above 1200rpm. This weekend I stripped and re built carbs and found all 3 floats were set about 5mm too low. Set them to the book and hey presto - no more stalling when trying to pull up a skier - just a pity it was last trip of the year!!

Prop it so those wot rpm's are higher and you'll get a skier out of the water even quicker.

Book says 5000rpm max! What is it safe to run this engine to?
