i have a 1974 "as i was told " looper 3, 2stroke engine my only issue with the motor is it seems to have a sluggish throttle between 1200/2600 rpms after that it runs at 5800 wot!! i have run a compression test #1 (123psi) #2 (120psi) #3 (122 psi) i run omc suggested spark plugs champions. and a 50:1 fuel mix 87 octane the plugs have a nice lite brown color to them after each use and the motor is in really great condition i have installed a new prop but it was matched to the one that was on it when i first bought it. the problem started eight hours after the prop was replaced i dont feel like that has created the issue just trying to give as much info as possible i have used the motor for about twenty hours now i love the motor and want to keep it going as long as possible i have checked the link@sinc that is ok any help would be great and no i dont run it wot around 3800/4500 average
