70's Era Merc 80hp 800 Elec/Hyd Tilt Fluid

Our early 70 Merc 800 with the original elec/hyd tilt n trim is a touch slow trying to tilt it up. Can someone help me with where I would add some hyd fluid and what type to use.

Over the years Mercury has recommended about any kind of oil thats put in a can, if I were you I would pull the lines off the cyls and drain the oil out of the sysemand replace it with Dextron 3. Here's a photo that shows the fill plug. Also the system should be fill in the up position.
