I know this is not a repair question, but I have been pulling my hair out trying to find a mounting bracket for my tilt/trim assembly.

There are some on ebay but they are selling with the whole assembly, which I don't need.

My motor is a 1972 Inline 6 1150.

Does anyone know where I can find this part???

Do you happen to have a link to the part, or the part number? I don't have it and can't seem to find it at their site.

You can find all your part numbers at www.dougrussell.com.

If it is the upper shock mount then it is P/N 55 - 28416. I paid about $50 for a new one at Merc last summer.

If it is the Bracket assembly for the trim cylinders then it is p/n 45196A 2 for the Stb. side and p/n 66084 for the port side. Since these bracket list for $250 each, i recommend you get them from a junk yard.

The part I need is the MOUNT for the trim/tilt motor/pump unit. This is mounted where the batteries and gas tank are located.
I'll check out the link you posted. Thanks.

The actual full link is: http://www.dougrussell.com/partscatalog/components/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewparts&colid=01&coldesc=1500&index=462&block=25&BlockNumberList=17,10,12,9,20,3,16,14,7,5,21,15,18,4,11,1 3,22,23,25,24,6,1,27,8,19,2,26

I did not see the hydraulic pump bracket in the listing. You could make one out of 5/4 pressure treated pine or bend a piece of aluminum into a u shape. The U-bracket stands on its end and the pump bolts into the cneter of the U. The Mercruiser trim pump brackets are the same shape.
