71 1150 idle speed

Just got my Tachometer in tonight and would like to set the idle rpm after adjusting the carb mixture. the SELOC manual says to check the appendix for the right rpm setting and then doesn't list it. great huh!! sea level. mid grade fuel, 50:1

750 is nuce... but it's gotta be below 1000 for lower unit safety.
