Hi,

I had this motor running for a few minutes, then it quit, no spark to either cylinder. One condensor was new. What might cause that to happen? Thanks.

So, you had the flywheel off huh? When you put it back on, were the crank and flywheel tapers clean and dry? Did you use a torque wrench and tighten the nut to 40-45 ft/lbs? If the answer to any of these is "no", then it probably sheared the flywheel key. Might have wrecked the flywheel or crank also.

update:

The flywheel key was ok. I disconnected the kill switch wires and got a spark back to one cylinder. Guess I'll switch condensors and see if that makes a difference. I cleaned the points again and should check gap too.
