I've got the above engine, which is running fine, but I'd like a better hole shot from it. I know that the engine is not a terrific hole performer, but with a prop adjustment, I think it could do better. It's got what I think is the standard prop for this engine on it...13.75x15. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a specific prop size to acquire to solve this engine's woes. Thanks!

Giz,

It's a bit hard to tell which way to go without knowing your top (wide open throttle) rpm.

A 15" might be a bit tall on a heavier boat.

One tip. Each inch in pitch is about equivelant to 200 rpm-up or down.
