i have an old 71 bomber bass boat it has a transom set up for a 20" shaft motor but the the motor i have on it i cant get to work and cant aford to put any more money into it because but i have a short shaft 60hp motor that runs great or did when it was stored away a cpl years ago so my question is can i cut the transom down some to put the shorter motor on it i know ill have to fiberglass it back over and put my trim back on and all that but can it be done and will it mess the boat up i didnt want to do it to my good starcraft cause its aluminum and the bomber is fiberglass so can i do it thanks
