I never noticed the water spitting/spraying out of a port just below the powerhead and to the rear before. I know it dosen't when I have the flushing hose on... only when in the water. Is this normal? I've seen posts regarding "relief valves/ports" is that what it is? If so, what is it's function? I do have a good "tell-tail" stream, and the engine runs fine.

HOGMAN,The tell tail stream shows that your water pump is working and it is keeping your engine at the proper operating temperature. Bill
