71' mercury 115 inline 6

Just purchased a inline 6 115 outboard mercury from 71' ..... Didn't test the compression till I got home after buying like a rookie. But it is my first motor I've bought so I am a rookie. Anyways. All cylinders have 150 psi in them except for cylinder 3 has 90 - 100 psi. Will this motor still run good in the water? Or did I just lose my money on it?

Remove bypass cover ( middle one of 3 covers ? ) and inspect piston and rings.

Thanks I will try to deeply inspect it. Has some black oil stuff in there that I can see. But the walls don't look scarred or anything else. The motor hasn't been in the water in 5 years but cranks and runs perfect on a water hose.
