Hey Black Spark. Welcome to the forum.

Taking for granted your engine is an electric shift, did you disconnect the wire harness to the lower unit? The knife connectors are under the "hood" probably on the starboard side of the engine. Look for a green and blue wire. Disconnect and tie a piece of string on to the harness where it goes to the midsection. Gently pull the lower wire harness from the engine area. A little lube here will help. The string is to help pull the harness back up through to the engine so it should be a strong string or a wire will do also.

Hello OBJ,
thanks for the help.
But my mainproblem is that I can't pull the lower unit away from the rest.
I suggest that somenone use a lot of glue to fix the lower unit :)
Any Idea to remove the lower unit oder an answer why I can't move it an inch ?

Greetings,

Marco

Did you remove the bolt on the trim tab? Might need to on that model.

When was the last time the lower unit was removed? I suspect the driveshaft is seized into the crankshaft. I have had to cut some of those apart to salvage used parts.

I don't know when the lower unit was removed.
I buy this motor last year in november. Possibly it is a few years ago.
