I would like to thank all contributors. I have just finished rebuilding the carbs on my motor. I had never done this before. It was with the manual and the information that I read on this board that I was able to successfully complete this project. My electric shift 50 now runs like new....<br /><br />Thank-you.

Where did you set your idle mixtures? I have two books; one says 5/8 to 3/4 of a turn out, the other says 1 3/4 turns...<br />Thanks, Rich

The top carb is set at 3/4 and the bottom is set at just under 1.
