Nice little rig,SS.I've got an older 'Rude as well.I've found that the fuel lines with the wire loop clamps don't hold up as well as standard hose clamps.You may want to change the fuel lines and clamps.I initally thought my fuel pump was acting up but once I changed my lines and clamps it idles and accelerates much smoother.Stick around this forum-these guys that post here know these outboards.Good Luck and have fun,C.C.
