72 9.8 mercury 110 won't start

I have a 72 9.8 110 mercury it won't start it's getting gas but no spark what do I need to know and where can I find a wiring diagram.

I see no one has responded yet; I'm working on my 1970 9.8, and saw several diagrams, discussions tips, etc.
