I just picked up an 85hp Evinrude I am in need of a new shifter control. Is their any type of single lever control I can use and get away from the push bottons controls?
The 1969-72 V4 Evinrude (pushbutton) and Johnson (single lever) control boxes are 100% interchangable. Make sure you the box you buy has a BLACK ROUND plug, identical to the Evi one you have now.
