How difficult is it to trace an electric choke issue? MIne used to work but now it doesnt have to use manual choke havent touched anything on the motor or controls not sure where to start
When you use the manual choke what position do you leave it in? If it's in the manual "off" position it won't work from the switch. It needs to be in the "auto" position so the switch will work.
Now, regardless of what position it's in at the motor the plunger should work. If the plunger doesn't work with the switch (key on) then you have an electrical issue.

I use in in the auto position for the choke switch at the key off auto on and its in the middle for the auto choke. Im thinking its an electrical issue but not sure were to start tracing
Jump started choke off solenoid and choke works checked my controls to see if switch is good and it is must have a broken wire between control and wire harness plug in. I did a resistance check on the end off the line from the choke junction box?? to the plug on the wire harness and all is good there. Have to find the broken wire now in the sheath
