73 115hp low coolant flow but good coming from block

73 115hp has set for quite a while got it started and running fine but the stream from the pee hole is real weak at idle. I pulled the plug on the back of the engine and it puts out a stream about 3/8" and shoots it three or four feet all kinds of pressure. I ran a wire up the peehole 18" until it hits where the hose ties in tried shooting air thru it. I need some info on what I might try next. I remember it making a good stream when it ran before. thanks

Hello Bird, The pee stream does not need to pee hard. But if you want it to, replace the hose going from the block to the pee spot. sounds like it is a bad hose.

That telltale hose often goes under the cowling support. Squeezing the hose past the cowling support often restricts the flow.
