Got pistons and crank back in , question #1 , my block halves have the spaghetti seal. Do you just puts sealer right over seal? Not sure where sealer goes. Question #2 looking down at my reeds they look open slightly ,is that ok or normal ?

I've always put just a small amount of sealer in the groove to hold the seal in and then some more over the top of it. Your reeds are normal.

Agree. The reeds will close/seal when under compression and function normally they way they are.

Re: 73 135 rebuild questions

Was just putting block halves together and found spaghetti seal fits fine on one side , the other it's not close to short .both side seals are same just one side groove is different. Any ideas, I could cut it and make work. With the proper sealer will it seal?
