this is a motor recently purchased and it is not firing on #2 and #4 cylinder, i have determined that there is a bad sensor coil. This is where my questions start, i have removed the flywheel expecting to see a canned timer base assembly, but after getting the flywheel off i have a clear view of the sensor coils and they are removable, is this normal for a "canned" assembly as i was under the impression it was a sealed component. The other two possibilities i have come up with if this is not normal is someone has changed the ignition system, or it is not a '73 as all the paperwork states. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
