'73 65 hp Johnson Buttoned Up and Tested

Hi everyone. The power head is reassembled and back on the boat. I tested it with the hose in the driveway, and after solving the unintentional drop test on the bottom cylinder (forgot to hook it back up), complete with lots of backfiring, it smoothed right out (drop test proved successful) and appears to be running great. Of course, it's hard to tell in the driveway, but there's definitely a change for the better. I'm smiling now. As soon as the lake cooperates this week, I'll be out there giving it a go. I'll let you know and hopefully have some photos off the stern with a great big, long wake trailing behind. Thanks again!
