I breifly looked thru the SM but didn't find what I was loocking for.

What are a few steps to verify my Motor is charging the battery as it should? What should the yellow wires (AC voltage be to the recifier from the stator)? Then what should I have on teh red wire going up to the control board?

Not seeing how the charge getting back to the motor to the battery from the diagram with that little wire coming from the control board to harness......

Thanks for the help.

has a double picture of the key switch connection as not to confuse you. Pos batt to key switch then key switch to starter soleniod key switch to switch box then switch box to rectifier. A volt meter will show and increse when the engine revs. 12 volt key on about 14 volts running idle and about 16 volts when under power throttling up

Yeah.. I get that they are all connected essentially at the plugs on the wire harness. I was kind of expecting the wire in the harness to the Box and then to the recifier to be a little bit beefier.

Any idea what their outputs should be? to verify it's working as I don't see my Voltage go up when I'm running it accross the BAT terminals.

If you have a manuel they show how to test the rectifier and it should also if the rectifier is working properly wheather or not it,s the stator leads. Might not help but if you take a 1 K ohm meter and the two yellow wires and hook the leads to each of them it should peg across the scale of the meter. You can try to take the volt meter and hook the pos up to the red on the rectifier and the neg to ground start the engine and see if it,s putting out about 14 volts
