I'm in the process of rebuilding the carbs on my Evinrude. Now is a good time to replace the fuel lines in the motor. I replaced the fuel line going to the motor with a new Atwood fuel line and I should probably do the same for the inside lines. Just make sure the lines are alcohol resistant, right?

The connections on the lines in my motor look like they're all just held on with zip ties. Is that the best connection for the fuel lines in the motor?

Thanks

Many of the fuel hoses under the cowling are special hoses. Those which have bends in them are specially formed that way and have specific part numbers in the parts catalog. If you use bulk hose in those places, the bulk hose will kink when bent into position and can cause a fuel restriction. Get factory hoses from any Bombardier dealer. Some other hoses are sold in bulk and should also be a dealer-stocked item. I prefer the Bomardier hose "snap clamps" to using the special factory hose zip ties.
