Hey guys, I have a 73 85HP Evinrude. This motor has the tilt assist piston. One day i put it up and locked it. Drove about 30 miles, got to the ramp and the motor was down, and the "Tilt" lever was missing. I would try to lift the motor, and the stop would try to engage, but the motor would slip right back down. I think I just need a new lever. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
