73 Johnson 50hp lower crank seal position

Resealing a 50hp Johnson 50ESL73R and removed the lower powerhead seal cap and installed a new seal. I didnt make any reference marks before removing it. The cap has 2 small pin holes on each opposite side above where the I ring goes. Also the block has 1 hole facing the intake manifold. I assume I line up these pin holes to the block hole but before I button her up I want to make sure. The manual makes no reference to this so im asking here.

Look at the bolt holes.----I think it only goes on in 2 positions.---Hard to make a mistake.

Your probably right... I had it in there without the oring on so I could test the fit up and I thought I saw all the holes were symmetrical ... I'll double check when I get home.
