'73 Merc. 1150 fuel line fitting replacements

Where can I find replacement fittings for the fuel lines to the inlet from the outlet to the carbs? Is there a generic replacement for them out there somewhere? I can fabricate new lines to them, I just need fittings.

Go to a auto parts store and ask to look at brass hose barbs

sylvanken, any chance you'd post back and let us know how you made out? I need to do the same thing. My carbs are on the bench right now.

I showed the lines w/ the connections to a local mechanic and he was unable to find a match in our immediate area for the fittings. He said I'll have to find a replacement at an auto parts store as advised by the I-boat forum. Funny, that's what I thought I asked him to do?? I'm going to do some searching myself possibly today. I'll let you know how I make out.<br /><br />Thanks for the help everyone!
