I’m currently restoring a 1974 cobalt 18’ Trihull. It has a mercruiser sterndrive along with the Ford 302, “888”. Control box is completely rusted and shot, so the question is. Can I get a dual lever control box instead of single lever. Also, are they all relatively universal for the mercruisers? I’m putting in the new shift cable this weekend, which I believe connects to the rest of the cable from the control box somewhere along the line? And then the throttle cable is just one piece? Thanks
