I bought "type C" and "Premium Blend" lower unit lube for my '74 85HP Jonny.
Now, I read on the bottle that the premium blend (evenrude/johnson brand) is recomended for electric shifts '62 to '72 and all newer ones use "Ultra HPF".
Is that type C? Or do i need to buy yet one more jug of oil?

Buy the way the Premium blend is like 10 weight oil and the Type C is blue in color and like 50 weight (ish)oil.

Which one of the 3 is correct?

It says that because 1972 was the last year they made electric shifts. You need to verify exactly what you have. That is the correct oil for electric shift L/Us.

Electric shift motors use "Premium Blend", a thin oil. Newer motors use the heavier stuff, but it shouldn't be called Type C.
